New "niece"

So I have a new "niece" of the furry variety...
Meet Penny Lane! (They didn't name her for 3 days, and then my mom started referring to her as "chi chi" and they got on it right away!)

Fall Decor

I finally got some time to bust out my favorite decorations of the year!! I even made Kurt move a shelf and put if over the TV so that I would have a fake "mantle"to decorate!! Most of my stuff has been gifted, or thrifted, or just found along the way over the last few years, but I love it! One of my favorite things to do is to go to the stores after a holiday and sift through thr decorations that are left over for 75% off or whatever :)

New baby Avery project!

Just thought that baby Avery needed a Halloween shirt so I made her this:

I used the same concept that the boys and I used in our bleach t shirts a few months back in this post, here...only I had to add an itsy bitsy spider to go along with it :)

Ever wonder where "Whem's works" comes from? I would if I were you! My sister, Erin, sometimes talks in these weird voices. It's quite hilarious. I mentioned it before, here, that she can make me laugh until my stomach hurts, and one of the things that she does is talk in these "voices."

Well ones of the "voices," was of an old beagle dog that we had, Ringer. She was SO old and deaf and possibly blind that she barely knew which way was up, but she was a happy old thing.

Erin gave her the funniest voice and used to yell for me throughout the house, "Wheeeeeeeeem!" (Instead of my usual nickname, Em.) and Whem just sort of stuck, so my parents and sister still call me Whem.

Anyway, its late and I have an early morning and a long day ahead of me! Have a good night!!
